Anant Yardi is President & Founder of Yardi Systems, a leader in real estate asset and property management solutions. Prior to establishing Yardi Systems, Anant worked for 14 years developing programming methodologies and directing systems development at Burroughs Corporation. He received an M.S. in Engineering from UC Berkeley, and B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Anant’s formative experience with the UC system and interest in the intersections of technology and democracy inspired the establishment of the Yardi Scholarship at UC Berkeley. Through this gift, the Yardis hope to instill a new generation of citizens with the tools and knowledge needed for improving the world around them.
