The Yardi Scholarship is a groundbreaking undergraduate experience for UC Berkeley students committed to democracy, technlogy, and social change.
Launched in Fall 2023, the Yardi Scholarship brings together students in the College of Engineering and the College of Letters & Science-Social Sciences Division for a signature undergraduate experience centered around the intersections of democracy, technology, and social change.
Yardi Scholars benefit from financial support, a dynamic curriculum, intellectual community, and a program to foster and apply their commitment to improving the world around them. Students are selected based on their demonstrated commitment to social change, upholding the democratic process, and/or harnessing technology for the benefit of society. Once fully implemented, the Yardi Scholarship will support 60 students, one-third of whom are transfer-entrants.
