Ana is originally from Tijuana, Mexico, and was raised in both San Diego and Tijuana in the border area of South California. As a first-generation student and Latina, Ana is super excited to start her next journey at UC Berkeley. She enjoys swimming, listening to music, hiking, and journaling with coffee or tea during her free time. As a transfer student and Sociology major, Ana eventually aims to support students through completing a graduate degree in counseling.

Araceli R. is looking forward to all the opportunities awaiting her at UC Berkeley. Araceli will be pursuing a degree in psychology and intends to give back to her community in the future. In her free time, she enjoys making art and reading. When she is not being a homebody, you can find Araceli at a thrift store or shopping for more Sanrio items.

Elizabeth was born in Oaxaca, Mexico, and raised in Inglewood, CA. Elizabeth’s passion is creation. Whether it’s creating drawings, writing, baking, playing the piano, painting, or creating memories with friends, she loves expressing herself in various mediums. She wants to be of service to others, constantly using her gifts and voice to offer support to the voiceless. This is what brings her the most joy.

Ernesto is from the Central Valley of California. Ever since Ernesto was young he has dreamed of helping and serving as a political leader in his community and region. He hopes to be a positive influence and inspiration for his family and Hispanic community which thrives in the Central Valley. Ernesto is very excited to start his education at UC Berkeley in the Fall in order to further his own goals and academic interests. Some of these academic interests include History, Political Science , Philosophy, Linguistics and even Art.
