Breanna is also a proud student parent who enjoys spending time with her children, practicing self-care, and trying to live a healthy lifestyle. Breanna is excited to grow, embrace new experiences, and continue building a future for herself and her family.

Crystal Echeverria is a proud first-generation Mexican American student majoring in Bioengineering. Driven by a passion for advocacy and healthcare equity, she is committed to using engineering to uplift underserved communities. Outside of academics, she enjoys cooking new recipes, traveling, watching movies, and swimming. Crystal is excited to begin her journey at UC Berkeley and looks forward to growing both personally and professionally while creating memories that she will cherish forever.

Diana Sanchez Hernandez

Diana is a first generation student planning on majoring in Political Science or Legal Studies with a minor in Psychology. Diana is motivated to pursue this field because of the lack of justice served in marginalized communities and a desire to support in this issue. Diana’s hobbies include painting, shopping, going to the gym, playing soccer, thrifting and being in nature. Diana is excited to transition from a smaller city in central coast to a very large city in the bay.

Dulce Patricia Leyva born in Mexico and later residing in California, is a student majoring in Political Science driven by a passion for social justice. Outside of academics, she loves exploring new places, whether it be traveling abroad or spontaneous road trips. She enjoys reading, learning random historical facts, going to the movie theater and playing her guitar. She is excited to dive deeper into her academic field, building meaningful connections, and make the most out of every opportunity that comes her way.

She is passionate about creating more sustainable construction practices by reducing construction waste through recycling and reusing materials. Outside of school, she loves caring for her plants and parrots and works with social media creators to promote healthy nutrition and care for pet birds. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending active days with friends, and exploring nature. Transferring from Los Angeles, Elina is excited to build a new community, learn, grow, and make a positive impact.
